Direct Thermal – This is when the printer applies heat “direct” to the media and prints without a ribbon. We have an extensive list of direct thermal labels on a ¾” , 1” , and 3” core as in stock and priced to move. With the ability to provide direct thermal to paper and synthetic with a custom size we can meet all your direct thermal needs.
Thermal Transfer – This is when there is a ribbon between the print head and the media. The head applies heat to the ribbon and the ribbon prints on the media. Like the direct thermal list of stock items the thermal transfer media has an even longer list of stock sizes. We supply thermal transfer paper, synthetic, and reflective material.
Ribbons – DDSi has an immense list of stock size ribbons ready to ship. We offer general purpose wax, standard & premium wax/resin, premium resin, near edge wax/resin, and different colors. Provide us with your printer model and the desired width and we can provide the right length ribbon for your application.
Specialty Services – We can provide pre-printing of artwork, logos, or other graphics. Specialty materials like synthetics or sign boards are also available.
